INSPIRE Maintenance and Implementation Group (MIG)

The INSPIRE Maintenance and Implementation Group (MIG) is entrusted with the following tasks:

• Encourage the exchange of experiences and good practices related to the Implementation Rules.
• Identify and advise on priority issues related to maintenance of the Implementation Rules and Working Groups.
• Identify and make recommendations on aspects related to the implementation of INSPIRE.

The MIG has a permanent sub-group, the MIG-T, which provides advice on the more technical aspects of INSPIRE implementation. It also has temporary working sub-groups that deal with specific topics. For more information, please refer to the following link:

The MIG is complemented by a list of experts (Pool of experts), who can be called on to deal with particular aspects of INSPIRE implementation or maintenance.
