Accessibility Statement
The National Center for Geographic Information has undertaken to make its website accessible in accordance with the (Royal Decree 1112/2018), of September 7, on website accessibility and applications for public sector mobile devices.
This accessibility statement applies to the site www. idee.es and excludes content from other domains.
Compliance status
This website is partially in accordance with the Royal Decree 1112/2018 due to the exceptions and lack of conformity of the aspects indicated below.
Content not accessible
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
1. Lack of compliance with the Royal Decree 1112/2018en
- Some images are not tagged or have a generic text alternative (9.1.1.1-A).
- Some groups of images do not have a group description (9.1.1.1-D).
- Some significant images incorporate text only represented in the image (9.1.4.5-A and 9.1.4.11-A).

3. The content does not fall within the scope of applicable law
- The Royal Decree 1112/2018 establishes in its article 3.4, the causes of exclusion of application of said Royal Decree and among them, it is found in its letter D, the following:
"Online mapping and cartography services, as long as the essential information is provided in a digitally accessible manner in the case of maps intended for navigation."
Consequently, web applications and pages published from this website that include online mapping and cartography services are excluded from the scope of the Royal Decree 1112/2018.

The request can be submitted through the Request for accessible information and complaints from the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, as well as the rest of the options included in the Law 39/ 2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
Communications, complaints and requests for accessible information will be received and processed by the Autonomous Body National Geographic Information Center.
Application procedure
If, once a request for accessible information or complaint has been made, it has been rejected, the decision adopted is not agreed, or the response does not meet the requirements set forth in article 12.5, the person concerned may initiate a claim . Likewise, a claim may be initiated in the event that the period of twenty business days has elapsed without having obtained a response.
The claim procedure included in article 13 of the Royal Decree 1112/2018 entered into force on September 20, 2020.

This website applies the requirements of the UNE-EN 301549:2022 Standard considering the exceptions of RD 1112/2018.
The last accessibility review was made in May 2023.

The recommended minimum web resolution is 1280x1024. The design has been made considering the size of the different tablet and mobile devices, adapting its display to the latest current versions of Chrome for mobile, Firefox for mobile, Safari mobile, Opera Mini and native Android browser.
The main goal of the National Center for Geographic Information is to make this website as accessible and usable as possible. For this reason, it has been designed adapting to current standards and regulations in relation to accessibility, for which reviews are carried out prior to each publication of new content.
